We recently had a photo shoot near Hanging Rock, NC with a couple of models, props, and a 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser (LC). Well, we set out in the late afternoon for a dusk shoot. We swung by and picked up the LC and everything was going well even though it was 90 degrees, 100% humidity, no air conditioning, and a slight chance of rain. We pulled off in a parking lot near where the photo shoot was planned to take place. We packed everything up in the LC and headed up the mountain road to the location, or that was the plan. Needless to say we didn’t make it. After packing up all the gear, props, and models into the LC it simply would not start. So we tried just about everything that we could think of to get it cranked and running again, but if you know anything about a 1979 vehicle, you know that they can be a little temperamental sometimes… to say the least. So while we waited on our rescue from AAA to arrive we snapped off a few frames. As a photographer you always have to make the most of any situation you are given. Thanks again to Alyssa and Johnny for helping us make the most of broke down photo shoot.

Well she’s finally here and beautiful!!! I was able to photograph Hayden a while back and we had a great time. She wasn’t sure about me being in her face with the camera at first, but she warmed up to me and did great!  We also had a fun time shooting Leigh Ann’s maternity portrait, if you haven’t seen it check it out here.

We recently shot Molly and Brad’s wedding in Lexington, NC.  Everything was beautiful- the weather, the ceremony, the flowers, and especially the bride!  These are two of the sweetest and most genuine people you’ll meet, and when you meet their families you know where that comes from.  We couldn’t have asked for a better bride and groom!  Thank you Andrew Day for helping us document this wonderful occasion!
